Ongoing ant infestation made the property unsuitable for a family stay. Positive: The location was good and the apartment itself has potential. Negative: There was an ongoing ant infestation throughout the stay, particularly in the kitchen, cupboards, and even inside the fridge, which is a serious hygiene concern. I reported the issue immediately and followed the instructions given, including using spray myself, however the problem continued and was not properly resolved. We had to throw away food due to contamination concerns and use our own products to try and manage the issue. Most concerning was the impact on my children. Due to hygiene concerns, they were unable to stay in the property and had to stay with family. We only remained because there was no alternative accommodation available. The response from the host was not adequate, and the issue was not handled to an acceptable standard. A clean and late check-out do not compensate for an ongoing infestation.

It was pleasant, but not a luxury experience. Needs improvement. Positive: The views, the comfort (especially in the bedrooms), the cleaning, the Nespresso machine, and the complimentary gym pass. Negative: The building’s staff is terrible with the guests. I’m aware it is not the host’s staff, but the issue must be addressed. The check-in and checkout process needs improvement. Some furniture also needs replacing.
